Other Services
- ICQ
- Also owned by AOL, ICQ (as in "I Seek You") is a popular messaging program that offers instant messaging and file transfers, and offers a choice between full-featured and lite versions.
- Trillian
- Trillian claims to connect to all major chat networks, including AIM®, MSN®, ICQ®, Yahoo!®, and IRC, all from a single program. If you need to access friends on multiple systems, this may be worth trying to reduce the number of programs you need to run to contact them.
