Macintosh MailApp
This document will help you configure MailApp to manage your E-Mail account.


Step 1
Open MailApp.


Step 2
From the Mail menu, select Preferences.

On the Mail Preferences screen, select Accounts, then Create Account.

Step 4
On the Account Information screen, select POP Account from the Account Type box. Enter your E-Mail address in the Description box. Enter the name you wish to appear on your outgoing messages in the Full Name box and fill in the rest of the information as indicated in the table below.

Enter your E-mail address. (Ex. username@core.com, username@voyager.net, etc…)
Your Incoming Mail Server is dependant upon your E-mail address. To locate the correct Incoming Mail Server, please click here before continuing.
Enter your username. (The first part of your E-mail address, everything before the @ symbol) Make sure this is typed in all lowercase. Also, be sure to type in your password in the field immediately below it labeled Password.
Type in authmail.core.com in the Outgoing (SMTP) field. Also, place a check in the box immediately below it labeled Use Authentication When Sending Mail.
Enter your E-mail address. (Ex. username@core.com, username@voyager.net, etc…) Also, be sure to type in your password in the field immediately below it labeled Password.

Step 5
Click OK to save your information and finish setting up your mail account.

Congratulations! You have successfully completed setting up your E-Mail to work in MailApp.


Helpful Pointers for using MailApp:

  • MailApp automatically checks for new messages periodically while the program is open and you are connected to our service. If at any given time you want to force the software to check for messages immediately, simply click the Get Mail button from the mail window.
  • After setting up MailApp, it is often helpful to close the program and then restart it.
