Mozilla Thunderbird Setup Instructions
To set up Thunderbird for the first time, launch the Thunderbird program. You
will be presented with the New Account Setup Wizard shown below.
Place the dot next to Email Account and click Next.
In the Your Name field, type in your real name, or the name
you want others to see when receiving an email from you. This can be anything
you’d like. In the Email Address field, type in your
full email address, including your user-name and full realms, as shown in the
example below. Click Next when everything is typed in.
Make sure the dot is next to POP. In the Incoming
Server field, you will type in the appropriate server name, which can
be found here. For
the Outgoing Server field, type in authmail.core.com
and then click Next.
For the Incoming User Name field, type in the first part of
your email address. For example, if your email address was john.doe@voyager.net,
you would type in john.doe with no spaces before or after the name. For the
Outgoing User Name field, type in your full email address,
in this example it would be john.doe@voyager.net. Click Next.
For the Account Name, type in your full email address and
click Next.
Checkmark the Download Messages Now box and then click Finish.
Enter your password in the Password field and checkmark the
small box below it if you would like to have Thunderbird remember your password.
Click OK to complete the setup.
